A FREE Social Media Workshop – For You!

As Crafted Canadian evolves, so does its approach to social media. The goal is simple: to better showcase your businesses, your products, and the stories behind them, while helping you reach new customers beyond your existing audience. With that in mind,

Join Us for a Free Social Media Workshop

Crafted Canadian would love to personally invite you to a free online social media workshop for our vendors.

During this session, we’ll share practical tactics and strategies we’ve learned from working with small businesses and retailers across Canada. The workshop will take place on Thursday, March 5th @ 1pm. You can email [email protected] to reserve your spot, and we’ll send you a link to attend.

This session is designed specifically for retailers and small businesses like yours, not influencers or large brands.

What We’ll Cover in the Workshop

The workshop will focus on updates and features within Instagram and Facebook that many business owners aren’t yet using, but absolutely should be.

We’ll also break down:

  • The difference between content for connected reach (people who already know your brand) and recommended reach (new audiences who don’t yet follow you)
  • How to move beyond posting only for existing customers and start getting discovered by new ones
  • Simple ways to create stronger, more engaging content without overcomplicating things
  • Practical content and posting ideas tailored specifically to retail businesses

Everything shared will be actionable, realistic, and designed to support your sales goals. The workshop will be about 90 minutes, and we have dedicated time for live questions. So please feel free to ask anything you need!

How Crafted Canadian Will Support You on Social Media in 2026!

As part of Crafted Canadian’s updated social media strategy, video content will play a bigger role moving forward. In 2026, video is no longer optional, it’s the most effective way to grow on platforms like Instagram and Facebook.

Instagram has introduced new features that allow accounts like Crafted Canadian to share, remix, and amplify your reels. This means your content can be shown to entirely new audiences, while also growing the reach, visibility, and prestige of our community as a whole.

If you have reels or posts you’d like us to consider sharing:

  • Tag Crafted Canadian in your posts or reels so our social media team can find you @craftedcanadian
  • Or feel free to send us a direct message with a link to your content

We genuinely want to highlight your work and help put it in front of more people.

We’re Here to Grow With You

This social media update is about more than aesthetics or trends. It’s about creating stronger visibility for Canadian businesses, supporting your growth, and building a marketplace that actively promotes its vendors, not just hosts them.

We’re excited to work more closely with you, share your stories, and continue evolving Crafted Canadian into a place where Canadian businesses are seen, supported, and celebrated.

I hope to see many of you at the workshop.

Workshop Hosted by: Katie Dempsey

Hi there, my name is Katie Dempsey, and I’m excited to officially introduce myself to the Crafted Canadian community.

I’ve been a social media manager for over 10 years and have helped hundreds of businesses improve their visibility, engagement, and overall impact on social media. Over that time, one thing has always stayed the same: social media works best when it’s authentic, creative, (and uses the latest platform features!) I’m going to show you what the algorithms are looking for in your content, and how you can use it to reach out to customers in creative new ways.
