Rose (Rosa centifolia)*: Well-known as the flower of love, rose petals have the ability to make you glow from the inside out. They contain vitamins E and C, which are the most important vitamins for nurturing the skin. They also contain antioxidants which help to reduce inflammation, and provide protection from free radicals, environmental contaminents, and other external pollution.

Peppermint (Mentha piperita)*: Peppermint leaves add that minty taste we all know and love, while helping to ease digestive issues, relieve tension headaches and migraines, improve energy and sleep quality, and unclog stuffy sinuses.

Turmeric (Curcuma longa)*: Bright orange turmeric contains anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and antioxidant properties which make it invaluable for overall skin health. It can boost collagen production and help the body to speed up cellular repair to form healthy skin tissue. It is unique in that it blocks elastase, an enyzme which attacks your skin’s ability to produce a protein called elastin (required for stretch and strength in your body’s tissues). It also acts as an immune-booster and can help protect the liver from damage.

Lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus)*: This fragrant tropical grass does more than just smell and taste fantastic, it also helps to reduce anxiety and stress, curb stomach and respiratory disorders, ease and prevent infections, boost the immune system, and detoxify the body.

Ginger Root (Zingiber officinale)*: Ginger root adds a zippy flavour component to this tea blend, while providing antiseptic properties, skin-boosting antioxidants, and soothing anti-inflammatory compounds.

Linden (Tilia europaea)*: Slightly sweet and mildly floral-tasting, this antioxidant-rich plant ally rounds out our Beauty Blend by adding skin-soothing properties to help ease inflammation and stress.

Yarrow (Achillea millefolium)*: Yarrow leaf and flower has a mild, slightly sweet yet bitter taste, and acts as a gentle tonic to help reduce skin and liver inflammation.

Calendula (Calendula officinalis)*: We likely don’t need to tell you these bright yellow petals are packed full of skin-soothing properties when applied topically, but did you know they are beneficial to the body when consumed internally as well? Calendula petals contain antioxidants which help to reduce inflammation within the body, speed healing time for wounds and ulcers, and combat acne.
