• Inc = increase
• Hdc = half double crochet
• FO =Fasten off
• DC = double crochet
• FPHDC = Front post half double crochet
• BPHDC = Back post half double crochet
• Sk = skip
• YO = yarn over

• Hook 5 mm for the body and 4mm for the brim
