The KEKO Stands were designed and developed by Jean-François Jacques of Montreal-based industrial design firm Météore Design. KEKO are the result of months of exhaustive research, starting with numerous tests of different approaches to the problem. The result is a remarkably simple product with a form that clearly follows its function. KEKO embodies a quest for perfection and meticulous attention to detail. Its textures, finishes and colours, materials, and audible and tactile feedback have all been designed to create a superb user experience.
Christine Jacques, in business development, joined her brother Jean-François to found KEKO Collection inc. Their objective is to develop the world market by offering KEKO as simple and effective solution for living better with technology.
KEKO is environmentally friendly. The stands itself are indestructible, which its designer considers the ultimate measure of environmental responsibility. The products have an indefinite useful life, and could even find a second life in the future, for example as a plate holder.
