California Poppy Herbal Tincture
Promote deep relaxation and sound sleep with the safe yet effective sedative properties of California Poppy. While this poppy may be related to the opium poppy (papaver somniferum), it is not to be confused with its narcotic sibling. California poppy has been proven safe, gentle, and effective in relieving anxiety, enhancing mood, and promoting sleep. It is also safe for use with children experiencing bed-wetting, nightmares, anxiety, and nighttime restlessness. Please refer to “Suggested Use” for dosage guidelines.
Suggested Use
ADULTS:Â Take 1-4 mL up to 3 times daily in a little water on an empty stomach.
CHILDREN: For restlessness, take 0.5ml (15 drops) in a little water on an empty stomach 30 minutes before bed, or as directed by your health care practitioner. This tincture can also be used for discomfort from teething. Please follow the guidelines of a qualified health care professional for dosage in children under 2.

We harvest and tincture the flowering tops and leaves while they are in their golden prime and tincture immediately to capture the full botanical benefits of these healing flowers.

This clear, smooth alcohol is locally-produced in Duncan, BC and is made using milled, fermented, and distilled wheat from certified organic BC farms. *For those with celiac disease or sensitivity to gluten, please note that once grain is distilled, there are no traceable levels of gluten remaining in the alcohol. As such, it is considered to be gluten-free.*
