Thank you for shopping with Stop and Smell the Candles. We hand‑pour our candles in small batches with care, and we’re committed to getting them to you safely and efficiently. Please review our shipping policy below.

Order Processing

• Orders are typically processed within 3–7 business days (excluding weekends and holidays).
• During busy periods (new launches, sales, or holidays), processing times may be slightly longer. Any delays will be communicated clearly.
• Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information.

Shipping Rates & Delivery Times

• Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location and order size.
• Estimated delivery times:
  
  • Canada: 1–5 business days after dispatch
  • United States: 2–7 business days after dispatch
• Delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to carrier delays, weather, or remote locations.

Local Pickup & Markets

• Local pickup may be available by arrangement at 2916 Bloor Street West, Toronto 0r in Cobourg, Ontario.
• Candles purchased at in‑person markets are not subject to shipping policies.

International Shipping

• International shipping is available on a limited basis, by request only.
• Customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees that may apply.
• Stop and Smell the Candles is not responsible for delays caused by customs processing.

Shipping Candles in Warm & Cold Weather

Candles are sensitive to extreme temperatures.

• In warmer months, we take precautions to reduce the risk of melting, but we cannot guarantee candles will not soften during transit.
• In colder temperatures, soy wax may develop a natural frosting effect. This does not affect candle performance or quality.

Damaged, Lost, or Stolen Packages

• Please inspect your order upon delivery.
• If your item arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the packaging and product.
• Once a package is marked as delivered, we are not responsible for lost or stolen items. We recommend shipping to a secure location.

Incorrect Address

• Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout.
• Orders returned due to incorrect or incomplete addresses may be subject to additional shipping charges.

Returns & Exchanges

• Due to the nature of our products, all candle sales are final.
• If there is an issue with your order, please contact us and we’ll do our best to make it right.
